Nothing Gold Can Stay

Film

I miss fall already…the crisp air is turning to bitter cold, the leaves are now brown, and the coffee shop is moving on with pumpkin spice to peppermint. Thankfully Racheal and Sean’s engagement session is filled with pretty leaves in the golden hour of the day for us to enjoy and hold onto a bit longer.

Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
